	MTS supports our customers by providing a variety of business management services including strategic planning, acquisition planning, program planning and management, financial and administrative support services. Our program management professionals work closely with senior level executives and military Program and Product Managers to perform requirements analyses, financial assessments, and information technology consulting. MTS is dedicated to the delivery of solutions to management challenges that decision-makers encounter on a daily basis. We offer broad technical and management expertise combined with experience from the Department of Defense, civilian agencies and the commercial marketplace. Business Process Re-engineering and Document Management System MTS provides support that helps NAVSEA 05 leverage the agency’s web-based Corporate Document Management System (CDMS) to streamline work processes and reduce project cycle times. Specific support efforts include: development of CDMS business rules and standards; computer classroom training on the CDMS; scanning and categorizing documents into CDMS for ease of search and retrieval; and, setup and implementation of online project collaboration space. MTS’ support is putting NAVSEA 05 in position to increase online collaboration and facilitate knowledge transfer throughout NAVSEA. Army’s Product Manager for Close Combat Systems (PM-CCS) Since 2001, MTS has provided support to the PM-CCS to enable the Army’s Transformation through several task orders. MTS’ work for the Army supports the Army's Demolitions Modernization Plan, the Intelligent Munitions System acquisition strategy, the Non-Lethal Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), and the development of supporting analysis and requirements documents in accordance with the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) for future systems that will fall under the purview of the PM-CCS and enable soldier and unit force protection, lethality and assured mobility. MTS provides information technology and general technical, program and engineering support services to Government sponsored analysis, requirements generation and program management for those programs of record that fall under the purview of the PM-CCS. Industrial Security Services MTS works primarily with small businesses to provide Industrial Security Services. We provide facility and personnel security subject matter expertise in order to assist businesses with compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). We provide a variety of security services in order to assist companies to comply with industrial security requirements for the Federal Government. MTS security personnel provide training and assistance throughout the security clearance process. Our engineers analyze requirements, develop, test, and implement solutions that address specific client needs. MTS engineers have professional certifications in a variety of engineering disciplines such as mechanical, chemical and electrical. They also have years of experience using advanced techniques such as modeling and simulation tools to determine best value solutions. MTS’ logistics professionals have supported all branches of the U.S. military ensuring that supply chains function efficiently and that our soldiers can rely on critical supplies and services. This range of expertise means that complex problems can be challenged using a broad spectrum of knowledge and experience. Future Naval Capabilities Crew Reductions through Improved Damage Control Communications (FNC-CRIDCC) MTS developed a wireless communications system for the Naval Research Laboratory, Chemistry Division, Navy Technology Center for Safety & Survivability. This robust, redundant, prototype wireless communications capability was created for use by shipboard damage control personnel and first responders. MTS also drafted cost and analysis data; recommended candidate equipment/technologies to the Government for use in the prototype; developed the use case for the prototype; developed a portable version of the prototype capability; and, developed and provided a training program for end users. We are working with the Government customer to ruggedize this system, currently being used in an operational environment. Environmental Engineering MTS provides the technical expertise to address the most complex environmental issues facing Navy programs and fleet operations. MTS is assisting various Navy programs in the management of environmental, health and safety (ESH) issues and their impact on the lifecycle of surface ships, submarines, and facilities. Our staff has provided long-term support to critical programs such as the “Ships to Reefs” Program and the NAVSEA Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCB) Program. Our unique environmental support capability is supported by dedicated professionals with years of practical experience in Navy compliance efforts. MTS works to bring a fresh perspective to our clients’ programs and we support their continued improvement by leveraging our ESH experience and other technical assets. Ship Maintenance and Engineering MTS has supported NAVSEA in the past with Aircraft Carriers and is currently providing support in isolating and resolving Surface Ships’ current and future Maintenance and Engineering problems. MTS provides support through analysis of current fleet operations, isolating critical issues, and recommending pragmatic solutions. In addition, MTS assists the Navy in forming Maintenance and Engineering teams to implement recommended solutions and support optimal fleet operations. Family of Army Scalable Trailers (FAST) MTS provides systems engineering design and development services for wheeled ground vehicles through the application and implementation of modeling and simulation and Advanced Collaborative Environment (ACE) based Electronic Document Management (EDM). MTS has produced a prototype trailer for 13-ton payloads termed the Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit (TEU) trailer with key focus on reliability, maintainability, mobility, interoperability, and usability. The TEU trailer features improved capabilities and features over comparable legacy trailers, such as payload self off-loading. Damage Control and Survivability Integrated Logistics Systems Diagnostics and Prognostics Product Modeling and Simulation Weapons Systems Engineering Human Factors Engineering Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) MTS works closely with our customers to deliver innovative information technology solutions. We support critical networks and systems requiring secure, reliable solutions. MTS aligns business needs with appropriate enterprise technologies to deliver cross-organizational benefits. Our innovative solutions integrate technology to provide a wide array of benefits to our customers…allowing them to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, improve safety or increase overall productivity. In the high growth area of Information Assurance, MTS employs a team of Information Security experts who work with larger Defense contractors and Federal customers on projects critical to our nation’s defense. MTS is currently a Preferred Supplier to Lockheed Martin Systems Integration – Owego. VH-71 Presidential Helicopter MTS is developing the System Security Authorization Agreements (SSAAs), System Security Engineering, and Information Assurance Vulnerability Assessments for the integration of the maintenance training systems, mission-planning systems and operational systems on the VH-71 Presidential Helicopter Program. MTS is developing the SSAAs for each component of the program from flight vehicle to maintenance and training systems. MTS is also tasked with ensuring Information Assurance (IA) is part of the design and that IA testing of each build is successfully completed before continuing into development. DHS Chemical & Nuclear Preparedness and Protection Division (CNPPD) Chemical Sector Branch Support MTS maintains a web portal for Department of Homeland Security CNPPD and provides data acquisition technology support updating both new and legacy databases that store information on 66,000+ chemical sites across the continental United States. We also provide usability testing, call center assistance, and subject matter expertise. Disaster Management Interoperability (DMI)-Services DMI-Services is a real-time information sharing environment through which a wide array of people and organizations can obtain data on the use of weapons of mass destruction. The system is tailored for response groups from the first responders to senior levels of Government. MTS contributes to the functional and systems analysis, development, testing, fielding, and prototyping for DMI-Services. Our experience in documenting first responder needs and developing this system has placed MTS in a leading role with many of the components in the emergency management and first responder community. This program has taken the system from conception to release and it is now deployed nation wide and is being used in several states. Information Assurance Information Systems Architecture Wireless Technology/Communications Software Development and Validation & Verification Network Design and Administration Medical Informatics Help Desk MTS provides systems analysis and integration services to assist our customers in identifying the best solution to meet their needs. We examine current systems and develop a plan to align them with the needs of the organization. MTS engineers and systems analysts use their proven experience researching new and alternative technologies and developing high tech products to provide the customer with the solution that will not only meet their needs now, but in the future. We problem-solve using a tested, iterative process to ensure the solution we implement meets the customer’s needs and works every time. Wireless embedded-Prognostic Utility and Logistical Status Environment (ePULSE) The Wireless ePULSE is an end-to-end diagnostic data collection system complete with backend information management for our clients. This system allows our clients to remotely monitor their process or product in a manner that facilitates higher quality products, centralized data management, and more efficient fleet operations. This modular system is capable of integrating a variety of wireless communication variants tailored to meet specific client application requirements. Our programs range from early stage vehicular OEM product development to fleet management. MTS supports a variety of commercial and government clients with Wireless ePULSE technology. Navy Medicine Knowledge Management System (NavMedKMS) Through the Naval Health Research Center’s (NHRC) NavMedKMS program, MTS is working to develop the NavMedKMS Data Warehouse, which is meant to improve the access, integrity, and quality of data available to the Navy. NavMedKMS is designed to enhance the medical decision support capabilities in expeditionary, TRICARE, and joint medical environments. NavMedKMS interfaces with a variety of data sources to discover facts not available to users when they utilize the individual data sources. NavMedKMS stores these facts in its data warehouse and reports them through a widely accessible web portal. In theater, NavMedKMS provides Command and Control (C2) with a cohesive method of data fusion and storage, providing a common operational picture. By aggregating the data from many disparate data sources, NavMedKMS provides a common architecture supporting Navy Medicine research and development. Identification and Validation Process for Naval Medical Technologies The MTS Team currently serves as the exclusive independent software test and evaluation component for the Naval Health Research Center's (NHRC's) IT/IM code in San Diego, CA. This project executes a process for identifying and testing medical software technologies of potential use to military medical care providers. Additionally, MTS provides integration and validation process support to prepare suites of such technologies for field-testing. Reports are generated and submitted to the client that provides information for the development of a recommendation for an accreditation action.
