Commander, Naval Installations Command (CNIC) Professional Support Services Released: Tuesday, September 29th, 2009
Virginia Beach, VA --MTS, as a subcontractor to Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC), Virginia Beach, Va., was awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide professional support services to Commander, Naval Installations Command (CNIC). SAIC was one of five awardees. The support services include program management, logistics, financial management, and administrative support services. For SAIC, the estimated value if all options are exercised is $70,368,766. MTS will have the opportunity to provide qualified personnel for various tasks as delivery orders are released. Work is to be performed in Washington, D.C.

Joint Trauma Analysis and Prevention of Injury in Combat (JTAPIC) Released: Monday, September 7th, 2009
Johnstown, PA --MTS was recently awarded a follow-on task order to support JTAPIC's goal of facilitating the integration of blast-related data from multiple DoD activities. MTS has been the primary partner with the Naval Health Research Center (NHRC) in developing leading edge operational medicine capabilities to assist in the development and enhancement of combat casualty care. This effort will continue to increase understanding of vulnerabilities to blast threats, enabling the development of improved tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). It will also enable JTAPIC to better protect the warfighter through improved requirements, materiel solutions and projection models. MTS will improve readiness and enhance the survivability of combat casualties, through support of JTAPIC. The work is primarily in support of the NHRC, San Diego, CA.
